Carrying forward this legacy, Ashtavaidyan Padma Shri E.T. Neelakandhan Mooss, his son, founded the Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala in 1941—a pivotal institution in the realm of Ayurveda.
In 1992, Ashtavaidyan Padma Shri E.T. Neelakandhan Mooss was honoured with the Padmasri, a prestigious civilian award, acknowledging his outstanding contributions to Ayurveda. Over eight decades, the Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala has evolved into a comprehensive entity in Ayurveda healthcare. The institution engages in diverse aspects of Ayurveda, including research, education, manufacturing, and the export of medicines.
