Vrindavan Ayurveda Chikitsalayam has three beautiful temples, one for Lord Dhanwantri (Lord of Ayurveda), a temple for Lord Krishna, and another for Goddess Kali. These temples bring a calm and spiritual feel to the surroundings. Anyone can come to these temples to pray and connect to the one powerful formless energy.
(Contact the front office to get an exclusive yagya organised as per your Doshas and ailments)
In Charak Samhita, “yagya” (fire rituals) acts as a therapeutic practice, particularly focusing on the inhalation of medicinal smoke (dhoomapana) for the cure of various ailments
Every morning and evening, our in-house priest performs an Aarti, or prayer ceremony, in the temples. Hence, join and experience the aarti that fills you with strength, positivity, and calmness.
Occasionally, we have special yagyas, or fire rituals, that are known to remove negative energies. These ceremonies also help to cleanse our aura and connect us with the fire element, which is important for balance and good health. Also, sitting in the Yagyas and spiritual Mantras will help you cultivate acceptance and surrendering to the almighty.
Throughout the day, OM chants can be heard on the VAC premise. These chants will keep your mind connected to calmness all the time that will aid in holistic healing.
Vrindavan Ayurveda Chikitsalayam is one of the only Ayurvedic wellness centres that has its own Gaushala where pure milk is collected to use in treatments and diet. Besides being unique, the reason for gaushala is to collect pure milk to use in the food and Panchakarma treatments to maintain the highest form of nutrition. Also, the cows are fed with the best quality “CHARA” for the best quality milk and other byproducts. How more can you benefit from this facility?
The special CHARA prepared for our cows with Flaxseeds (Alsi), Taramira, Carom Seeds (Ajwain), Fenugreek (Methre), Rock Salt, Jaggery, and CottonSeed Meal (Binola). Since, all these ingredients have high minerals and vitamins that transfer to the milk produced, we feed the cows with best of the quality Chara. (Some nutrients are omega-3, protein, calcium, & more.)
We encourage our patients to not only visit the Gaushala but also spend time with the cows and calves for a joyful experience.
Patients can volunteer to help care for the cows by feeding them, or just pampering them
(patting and loving).
For those interested, there’s an opportunity to learn how to milk the cows, adding a unique and grounding experience to their healing Ayurvedic journey.
Our Gir cows produce A2 milk, known for its purity, taste, and nutrition. This milk is used in preparing meals and Ayurvedic treatments, ensuring patients receive only the highest quality.
NOTE: Health Seekers who wish to be a part of cow feeding should ask from the reception area!
It is important to note that spending time with the cows in the Gaushala connects patients with nature and also offers a therapeutic holistic experience.
Although we always recommend VAC health seekers to limit their use of digital screens for enhanced effectiveness of Ayurvedic treatments, we understand that some might need to work during their stay. Hence, there is a workstation area in the “Tulsi Cafeteria” that provides internet access, desks, and silence to work in peace.
