The word Avagaha means “immersing” and Sweda means “sweating,” which combines therapeutic effects of herbal medicines with the soothing action of warm water. Together, this helps in the elimination of accumulated toxins, pain reduction, and restoring the imbalanced doshas.

Avagaha Sweda is a classical Panchakarma therapy where a health seeker is made to sit in a warm herbal decoction-filled tub. Additionally, at Vaidyaratnam Vrindavan Ayurveda Chikitsalayam is performed in an authentic way and under the supervision of experienced and senior Ayurvedic doctors and therapists.
