Yoga

Yoga is defined on the basis of variety of asanas, it means the collaborative movement and bending of body parts to cure diseases. Yoga isn’t necessarily a ‘one-size- fits-all’ practice, either. It can also be categorised as a form of meditation.

Yoga therapy mainly consists of yogic kriyas, asana, pranayama, eye exercises and relaxation techniques. We teach disease specific yogasanas and pranayamas depending on the patient’s condition.

Different types of yoga might be best for different people. A 20- year old person will have different Yoga therapy requirements than that of a 50 year old. A person who is active and flexible will not require the same yoga therapy as someone who is stiff.
