The Eledath Thaikattu Mooss family, renowned Ashtavaidyas (experts in all eight branches of Ayurveda), have significantly contributed to this ancient healing system since the early 1900s.

Ashtavaidyan E.T. Narayanan Mooss was honored with the title Vaidyaratnam in 1924, and his son, Ashtavaidyan Padma Shri E.T. Neelakandhan Mooss, founded the Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala in 1941.

In 1992, E.T. Neelakandhan Mooss received the prestigious Padma Shri award for his contributions to Ayurveda. For over eight decades, the Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala has grown into a comprehensive Ayurvedic healthcare hub, focusing on research, education, medicine manufacturing, exports, and operating treatment centers in major cities.
